The following are taken from my training over the last month.
First up, the Loaded Tough Guy and Gal Challenge Wellington took place on the first weekend of September, and I came in 3rd place! (Review to be posted soon.)

Two weeks later I hit The Madness in Auckland. A team-based race, The Madness was awesome – homely but with tons of walls throughout the course, upper-body obstacles, weight carries, water swims, and more to make the race step-up the difficulty level of OCRs in NZ. (Review also to be posted soon.)
Coming back from Auckland I’ve regained motivation to train again, getting back into the habit of training 5 days a week. While still up there I headed out to venture up here:

I’ve kept up some training – smashing runs, hill sprints, lots of bodyweight lunges, etc over the past couple weeks since getting back home. But it’s always tricky to set priorities with everything else in life, so I’m never fully consistent with the training I want to be doing and there’s still so much more training I know I need to be doing to really improve my fitness to podium quality. If in doubt:
It’s 11 days until my next race – the McDonald’s Mud Muster.
