2015 is done! And it’s time to look back at the past year.
My blog has done some interesting stuff over the year – changed between personal posts, to news style reporting posts, to greater detailed articles. While it’s often used a lot of time (usually more than I plan to), it’s been fun and being able to write has allowed me to connect with some interesting people with the same interests.
Here’s the top posts from this blog – as decided by popularity:
Total blog views for 2015:
After just over one year of blogging, that’s a pretty decent view count. Thanks for reading! Although I would have preferred to get more traffic. For 2016 I’ve set my blogging goals, and part of it includes getting more views across all my posts – feel free to browse posts you may not have read yet, such as from the list below. Also don’t forget that you can subscribe to all future posts by entering your email into the option on the right-hand menu of this blog.
Most viewed posts for 2015:
Looking at the most popular posts, they’re all to do with reporting on other people’s awesome activities – ie product reviews, events, interviews, and news reports. That’s an interesting insight. While there’s some amazing OCR, parkour, and ancestral fitness stuff happening out there, and in New Zealand where I write from, there’s sort of a gap at the moment I think in being able to find out about the cool stuff happening and follow along with it. So for 2016 I will be writing more posts along the lines of what’s been demanded: covering the cool stuff happening from OCR, parkour, and ancestral fitness! Feel free to contact me if you have a topic you’d like to see a blog post on.
Finally I’d like to thank sponsors: Movement Unleashed for hosting the blog, and Star Holistic Fitness Studio for covering some racing costs. I’d also like to thank some organisations for race entries: Cure Kids and Event Promotions for Tough Guy and Gal entry, and Obstacle Racers NZ and Sport Whanganui for Mud Muster entry.
